EMDS Protective pipes for the TESLA - Gigafactory
Supply line to the TESLA plant from the Freienbrink substation
As part of the development and preparation measures for the new production site of the TESLA Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, new 110 kV lines were laid from the transformer station in Freienbrink to the construction site in Grünheide. For this purpose, EMDS protective pipes made by Gerodur were installed using the trenchless HDD method, into which the power cables were later pulled.
