In 2015 the urban community of Saint Omer has planned the new pipe laying of a supply line for drinking water. In order to avoid traffic disruptions on Rue Georges Cartiaux, the installation of the pipe line had to be realized quickly. The client decided to use a GEROfit NEXUS pressure pipe made of PE100-RC with a location wire system and a additional jacket.
The execution of the construction work, in particular the production of the connections (welds and locating wire), was carried out in close cooperation between the construction company and Gerodur's specialists.
