New construction of water supply line from waterworks south to Industriestrasse /­ 2nd construction phase

The municipal utilities are planning to renovate an existing potable water supply pipeline made of steel in DN 500 from the southern waterworks to Industriestraße in the Hanseatic city of Stendal. The project comprises the laying of new PE pipes by means of relining as well as the enclosure of the drinking water house connections and the connections to the existing system. In addition, individual sections will be realised using the open trench method.
The rehabilitation section is approx. 1,450 metres long and is divided into individual catchment sections depending on the route and technological requirements. The aim of this measure is to continue the drinking water pipeline that has already been renewed up to the Herrener Straße /­ Industriestraße junction and to replace an existing grey cast iron pipeline.
