Gerodur can look back on a long-standing partnership with the renowned civil engineering company Ludwig Pfeiffer from Leipzig. Thanks to intensive and practical cooperation, we have always been able to find technically optimised and economical solutions for our joint customers and efficiently implement the often challenging projects. With the GEROtool^® product group, our partners also have a wide range of practical aids and tools at their disposal to facilitate processing conditions in pipe laying and handling.
Back in 2019, Gerodur manufactured a construction site container as a high-quality welding station to Ludwig Pfeiffer's specific requirements. After successful deployments on various construction sites, the Saxon company decided to integrate further welding containers into its construction site facilities for the next large-scale projects. The new container modules were planned and equipped in two variants based on different application profiles. Both types can be used for parallel welding (double and quadruple). Among other things, this fulfils the high quality standards of energy suppliers and network operators in the production of multi-stage cable protection pipe lines. In addition to ensuring optimum welding parameters in accordance with DVS, the use of this robust work station enables employee-friendly working conditions. The container also makes a significant contribution to the effective and economical execution of demanding work processes and ensures a high level of health and safety at work.
