In this way, existing resources are to be used in a low-investment and regenerative way. In addition, an intelligent energy concept "Anergie - Cold Local Heating" will create a highly efficient and optimised environmentally friendly network for heating and cooling. Through centralised control and management, reversible heat pumps and the "LowEx pipe network" specified for this purpose can control the temporarily fluctuating energy demand and surplus of the individual campus units. Gerodur was already involved in the project planning phase in close cooperation with the planners and construction companies carrying out the work on a specified colour and marking concept as well as in the ion of the most suitable pipe types and dimensions."

The town Ingolstadt and the car manufacturer AUDI are planning a modern technology park - the IN Campus - on the 75 ha site of a former oil refinery.
