GUSEA – Green-Urban-Smart-Energy-Area
The public buildings on the site of the school and sports centre in the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Schifferstadt are to be renovated to make them more energy-efficient. To this end, a comprehensive energy concept was developed to replace the current electricity and heat supply, which is separate and based on different energy sources, with an intelligent, CO2-neutral and long-term economical energy cycle.
As a member of the innovative expert co-operation for complex and sustainable energy supply - "NETZ-WERK REGENERATIV^®" - Gerodur supported the planners in the project development with regard to an efficient cold local heating system. Project-specific labelled GEROtec ANERGIE pipes in various dimensions form the basis of the complex distribution network for an optimal and low-loss supply of renewable energy.
