RCprotect®PE100-RC pressure pipe

Solid-wall pressure pipes made of PE100-RC with coloured stripes (PAS 1075 type 1) or co-extruded solid-wall pressure pipes with dimensionally integrated coloured outer layer (PAS 1075, type 2) to identify the medium. RCprotect® resists in particular the consequences of scratches occurring when sand bedding is not used, as well as point loads occurring over a longer period of time.

Suitable Installation

  • Gerodur laying in sand bed Computer graphics

    Sand bedding


    When laying in a sand bed, the excavated material must be replaced with a sand bedding in accordance with DIN EN 805. Restrictions on the grain sizes of the bedding material must be observed.

    Due to the verification by an independent testing institute, the installation is possible without a sand bed. This eliminates the additional expense of replacing the excavation with a sand bedding in accordance with DIN EN 805 (transport, landfill).
